3 Ways To Manage Mood Swings Naturally

1. Meditation

Meditating on things that made me happy, first thing in the morning (usually in a quiet room) really gave me a push to stay positive throughout the day!

Concentrating on “thoughts” that make you happy produces dopamine in your brain, which helps to reduce negative feelings like- anxiety, stress, fatigue, etc.

2. 8 Hours of Sleep

I noticed that one bad night’s sleep made me highly grumpy and irritable throughout the day. I would ‘overreact’ when things don't go my way, didn’t find myself happy in general and felt dry. 

So, I started to train myself to religiously sleep 8 hours a night and saw vast improvements in my mood, energy and even concentration level throughout the day.

3. Improved Gut Health

Many of these experts would refer to the gut as a “second brain”, and for a good reason. Happy neurotransmitters like serotonin, tryptophan, and GABA are produced in the gut and keeping the gut healthy increases the production of these hormones- creating a positive effect on my mood.
